Phoenix Navigation Campus
The Phoenix Navigation Campus is a 280-bed facility designed to address the city's homelessness crisis. Recognizing the urgent need for shelter and support, Phoenix officials created this campus to provide individuals with a path to stability. On-site wraparound services, including case management, behavioral health support, job training, workforce development, and medical care, offer personalized assistance to help residents overcome challenges and rebuild their lives.
The closed campus navigation center will provide 200 congregate beds across two Sprung Structures, one for men and one for women. Additionally, 80 non-congregate beds will be available in converted shipping container shelters. A third Sprung Structure will function as a navigation center, offering on-site support services. The facility will also provide meals, secure storage for personal belongings, RV safe parking, and accommodations for pets like kennels and hygiene facilities. No walk-up services will be offered and guests must be referred by an outreach service provider.
By providing a comprehensive range of services within a controlled environment, the Phoenix Navigation Center aims to offer a transformative experience for people in the area. With a focus on individualized support, coupled with essential needs like meals, storage, and pet accommodations, the center strives to create a stable foundation for residents to rebuild their lives. The closed campus model, with a referral-based system, ensures that resources are effectively allocated to those most in need, maximizing the center's impact on the community.
