Punta Gorda Light Station A National

The Punta Gorda Light Station in Petrolia, Ca recently went through a rehabilitation project. RPM provided a rapid turn around for an underpinning design for a contractor that did not foresee an existing condition related to an existing concrete structure, scopes included:

- Calculation for Underpinning Design
-Wall Stud Size, Layout, Wall Openings, Opening Sizes, and Connection Required

The Punta Gorda Light Station is a popular destination for hikers, photographers, and history buffs alike. It is located in the King Range National Conservation Area, which offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the rugged Northern California coastline.

The lighthouse was built in 1910 and decommissioned in 1951. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
